The FITT HOUSE experience is one that takes a comprehensive approach to wellness, including focus on physical health, mental health and nutritional health. Providing an incomparable wellness experience means having highly trained team members. Our team is excited to announce our new partnership with Eating God’s Way. We have partnered with local dietitian and small business owner, Bianca Plant, to add nutrition coaching and counseling to our wellness experience. This service is open to FITT HOUSE members as well as members of the Baton Rouge community. We are excited to have Ms. Plant join our team and hope everyone takes advantage of this amazing opportunity.
Bianca Plant, MBA, RD, LDN
Meet Bianca
Bianca Plant, a native of Lafayette, LA, received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and has also graduated from Southern University and A&M College with a Master’s in Public Administration. She was the recipient of the James E. Webb Internship Program in Business and Public Administration at the Smithsonian Institution in Occupational Health Services in Washington, D.C. and has completed the Marshall University’s Dietetic Internship Program.
Bianca Plant is the Cookbook Author of Eating God’s Way and Clinical Dietitian for Louisiana Department of Health.
With the emphasis on Chronic Disease Prevention, she has worked on such projects like Exercise Your Faith Wellness Initiative, the Healthy Communities Project, and Action for Healthy Kids. Publications of her healthy living articles have been featured in Acadiana Lifestyle, VanGuard, & Lola Magazine.
She is featured on a monthly nutritional segment on KLFY TV 10’s Morning Show, the WCG International Virtual Wellness Program, and has her very own YouTube series. She has participated with the Southern University Land Grant Today Radio Show, inducted into NAUW & Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and a Board Member of the River Road African American Museum.
Bianca is the President of the Health & Wellness Ministry at New Hope Baptist Church with a monthly virtual segment that tackles the needs of the community. She has been named “People for 2021” by The Drum Newspaper of Baton Rouge and Recognized as a “Woman of Influence” by the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.
