How to stay on track?

Isn’t it hard? To stay on track when everything in life is trying to derail you? This is definitely one of the hardest parts of fitness. Staying consistent. Though everyone has a busy schedule, you have to stay consistent and honestly, you can only stay consistent if you want it bad enough. YOU have to make time for your health, just like you make time to get your hair done, nails done, and EVERYTHING done lol. Speaking from experience things that keep on track are:

  1. POSITIVE SELF TALK— It’s so easy to talk ourself into things that we want to do, and out of things that we don’t want to do. You see, instead of thinking of exercise in a negative manner, think about it positively. Instead of saying, “ugh I have to workout,” tell yourself, “I’m going to sleep good after this workout,” or “I've checked off everything on my to do list today once I’ve worked out.” It’s a matter of perspective. Once you change your perspective, you’ll see things in different light.

  2. PLAN—As I said earlier, most of us have busy schedules, so it’s important to PLAN YOUR WORKOUTS. Plan your workouts based on your work schedule, you kids schedule, your moods lol, EVERYTHING. Plan not only so you’ll be able to expect it, plan so your able to look forward to it.

  3. TREAT IT AS A REWARD— Summer 2023 is approaching and I know everybody wants to be outside. TELL YOURSELF YOU HAVE SOMEWHERE TO GO AND YOU NEED TO LOOK GOOD. Set yourself up for greatness. If you have to tell yourself you’re working out everyday just to look good on vacation, DO IT. But the key is you HAVE TO DO IT.

Simply put, there’s no easy way around it. You have to make the choice to do better ! You have to be consistent.
